Thomas Frank has named Mohammed Kudus, Wilson Odobert and Mathys Tel as the Tottenham players who can help in terms of the team's creativity. Spurs are extremely short in the No.10 position right now with James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski facing lengthy spells on the sidelines.
Pape Matar Sarr has stepped up in their absence and delivered some excellent displays in a more advanced midfield role this term. Tottenham are set to strengthen in that position with Xavi Simons on the verge of joining in a £51.8million deal from RB Leipzig after previously missing out on players such as Eberechi Eze and Morgan Gibbs-White.
Simons is a creative player himself, notably adding 24 assists to the 22 goals he contributed in his 78 appearances for RB Leipzig. While of course the Netherlands international can be a huge figure for Tottenham in the final third, Frank believes Kudus, Odobert and Tel can also step into the breach and be creative forces for the team

"Let me put it this way, I think we've got a very good midfield," said Frank in his pre-match press conference. "I like the six midfielders we have in Archie, Lucas, Bissouma, Joao, Rodri and Pape. Very happy with them.
"No doubt we have that creativity in Maddison and Kulusevski that is out now. So I think that's very transparent that they are out. So of course that's a skillset we need to find either in some other players like Kudus, or Wilson or Matty.
"So I think the midfield is strong. And again, can we sign something that will improve the squad? We'll be happy."
When pushed on what is happening with Bissouma given the possibility of a transfer exit before deadline day, Frank added: "The squad news is also that Bissouma can't make the game tomorrow and right now it is the same. Bissouma is a Tottenham player."
