Farah Khan had a blast recently, as she and her chef Dilip visited the palatial Delhi residence of Riddhima Kapoor Sahni to shoot a vlog. For the unversed, Riddhima is the daughter of actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh and 'Animal' star Ranbir Kapoor's sister. During the shooting, Riddhima's daughter, Samara, also made an appearance. Khan was wowed by her visuals and confidence and remarked that she could be a leading lady in the future.
As soon as she walked into the room, Samara requested to see the monitor to see how she looked, to which the 'Om Shanti Om' director quipped, "Yeh ladki heroine banegi (This girl will become a heroine)." Telling her that she looked amazing, Farah told her team, “ Ache se light kar ma’am ko. Under-eye nahi aana chahiye (Ensure that the lighting on her face is proper. The under-eye shouldn’t be visible.”
When Samara asked for a reshoot, Farah Khan playfully told her off, saying that they don't have the budget to film everything twice.
Samara, who appeared to have a keen eye, took a look at the monitor and asked why her hair was so wet. She requested Khan for a reshoot, and the director-YouTuber finally agreed. "Entry, take two, of the biggest star of the Kapoor khandan, Samara!" she quipped .“Samara, I can officially say that I have launched you. After Rakhi Sawant, Malaika Arora, Deepika Padukone, and Dilip, I have launched Ms. Samara," she said.
During the fun shoot at Riddhima Kapoor Sahni’s Delhi residence, Farah Khan decided to bring up a viral clip featuring little Samara Sahni. The video had caught attention online because Samara appeared to be slightly “sulking” while posing alongside her mother, Riddhima, and grandmother, Neetu Kapoor.
Riddhima explained that her daughter often attempts to imitate a dramatic, fashion-inspired expression whenever the camera turns toward her. She jokingly compared it to a serious “model look,” which to outsiders might appear as though the young girl is upset. Samara, however, wasn’t too keen on this interpretation. Displaying her characteristic confidence, she quickly corrected her mother, insisting that having a calm or neutral expression was natural and should not be mistaken for unhappiness.
