Actress Kubra Sait will soon be seen in 'Trial Season 2' with Kajol. Recently, she worked in the film 'Son of Sardaar 2'. In a conversation with Amar Ujala, Kubra discussed in detail her film experience, changes in the industry, and upcoming projects.
Kubra was ready for 'Son of Sardar 2' after the first meeting itself.
Sharing her experience of working with Ajay Devgan in 'Son of Sardar 2', Kubra said, " I remember the first meeting was with the director and the team. Only then did I feel that my character was exactly what I wanted. It was great to see the script and feel that I could play it properly. Yes, the preparations for shooting and visa were a bit stressful, but there was a lot of happiness and enthusiasm from the beginning.

Every day, there was something new and fun on the set. Narrating the anecdote related to the climax scene of the film, she said that the climax scene was shot in the cold winds of Scotland, where everyone's teeth were shaking. But there was an atmosphere of laughter and fun on the set. All my scenes with Sanjay Mishra and Deepak Dobriyal were very fun and energetic. Every day, something happened on the set that will always be remembered.
Feels proud to be a part of 'Son of Sardar 2'
'Son of Sardar 2' did not perform well at the box office. However, Kubra is very happy after the release of the film. She says that people laughed after watching the film, and the film brought families together. The biggest reward for me was that the fun I had during the shooting reached the audience as well. This journey was not just about making a film, but also about laughter, happiness, and creating memorable moments. I feel very proud that I could be a part of it.
Big change in the industry
Kubra has been working in the industry for the last fifteen years. During this time, about her industry experience and her journey, the actress says that in the beginning, when I came to Bombay, I did not have anyone's number, and the industry seemed very big and different. Today, social media has made the world small. Now I don't feel lonely or like a stranger in the city, but in a way, I feel familiar. This is the biggest change for me.
Slowly, I am learning to play challenging characters.
Kubra also shared her experiences with difficult characters. She said that many times, such characters came that did not excite me on seeing them for the first time, but still, I played them. Like the character of Fara in 'Foundation', Meher Salam in the series 'Illegal', and Pallavi in 'Sheher Lakhot'. Earlier, I used to lose courage quickly after such characters, but now I am slowly learning to feel their emotions without breaking down. Difficult characters test our patience and strength and prepare us for every new character.
We should make the character interesting in our way.
Regarding being stereotyped and typecast, the actress says that sometimes people see you in the same type of character. But if there are similarities in the script, then we can make it fresh and interesting in our way. This is the art and the real joy of working.
How was the experience of working with Kajol
Kubbra will soon be seen in 'Trial Season 2'. The actress is very excited about this. About this, she says that my character is very beautiful, and this is a great opportunity for me. Working with Kajol is very special. Her energy and simple nature inspire me. I was surprised that Kajol is very fond of reading, and she only reads fiction. Her imagination is very colorful, and she understands anything easily. Working with her is fun and inspiring.

Want to do a biopic of the first Indian female astronaut
Regarding her dream role and biopic, Kubra says that if I have to play a role, I can write it myself. At the moment, I am enjoying my characters. On the question of biopic, she says that yes, if I get a chance, I am ready to play Kalpana Chawla's character in her biopic. Her life, courage and achievements are very inspiring. I hope that bringing his passion and courage to the screen will be a very special experience for me. It will not just be an acting opportunity for me, but also an honour and inspiration.
