Ingredients for Dahi Wale Aloo
Boiled potatoes: 4-5
Fresh yogurt: 1 cup
Cumin seeds: 1 teaspoon
Green chilies: 2 (finely chopped)
Ginger: 1-inch piece (grated)
Rock salt: to taste
Black pepper powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Oil or ghee: 2 tablespoons
Coriander leaves: for garnish
Method for making Dahi Wale Aloo
First, heat oil or ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds and fry until golden.
Add chopped green chilies and grated ginger, and fry for a few seconds.
Next, break the boiled potatoes into small pieces with your hands and add them to the pan.
Fry the potatoes for 2-3 minutes until they turn light golden.
Now, reduce the heat to low and add the beaten yogurt. Stir constantly while adding the yogurt so it doesn't curdle.
Add rock salt and black pepper powder and mix well.

Cook on low heat for 2-3 minutes so the potatoes absorb the yogurt's flavor.
Turn off the heat and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
Your tasty and healthy "Dahi Wale Aloo" is ready. You can also eat it with buckwheat puri or sama rice. This recipe is perfect for satisfying your hunger during fasting days.
