India marched into the final of the Asia Cup 2025 with a dominant 41-run victory over Bangladesh in their Super 4 clash at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. With a complete team performance featuring both batting brilliance and bowling precision, the Men in Blue showed why they remain one of the top contenders for the title.
India posted a strong total of 168/6 in their 20 overs. The foundation was laid by young opener Abhishek Sharma, who continued his stellar form with a superb 75-run knock. His innings was laced with confident strokeplay, rotating strike effectively while punishing loose deliveries. Despite losing wickets at intervals, India’s middle order chipped in with valuable cameos to ensure a competitive finish.

In reply, Bangladesh struggled to gain momentum from the start. India’s bowling unit came out with clear plans and executed them with precision. Left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav was the standout performer with figures of 3 wickets, troubling the Bangladeshi batters with his flight and variation. Jasprit Bumrah and Varun Chakravarthy also made crucial contributions, picking up 2 wickets each to maintain constant pressure.
Bangladesh’s innings eventually folded for 127 in 19.3 overs. Despite brief resistance from the middle order, regular wickets derailed their chase. India’s disciplined bowling sealed the match.
With this victory, India not only secured two crucial points in the Super 4 stage but also became the first team to officially qualify for the Asia Cup 2025 final. They will now face the winner of the upcoming Pakistan vs Bangladesh clash.
