Olly Murs' wife Amelia 'forever grateful' as she poses in underwear after giving birth

Just two and a half weeks ago, Olly Murs’ wife Amelia gave birth to their second child – a baby boy named Albert. She shared the exciting news on September 4 with a picture of the happy couple leaving the hospital with their baby boy and their two-year-old daughter Madison.

Now she’s taken to Instagram to share a body positivity post as she thanked her body for carrying her two children. The 32-year-old posted a black and white video of herself standing tall in her black underwear as she proudly shows off her C-section scar.

The mum-of-two beams from ear to ear as she holds her little man in her arms and poses for the camera. She captioned it: “Thank you body for carrying life twice, giving birth and still showing up every day.

“Forever grateful for the way you changed to bring my two beautiful babies into the world. I’m proud of this version of me and looking forward to getting fit and strong again when the time’s right #postpartum.”

Proud husband Olly, 41, commented: “Two beautiful kids, one unbelievable, incredible wife. I’m a lucky, lucky man.” Her fans also flocked to the comments section to thank her for sharing the post as well as to compliment her on her postpartum body.

One social media user expressed: “The most inspiring post, thank you for sharing to the world how incredible women’s bodies really are. You are beautiful inside and out.”

Another follower gushed: “Beautiful. And thank you for normalising post birth bodies! You still look incredible,” while someone else said: “A real woman that loves her baby body.”

Yet another penned: “Absolutely beautiful! Women’s bodies go through so much change after childbirth and we’re made to think it’s gross but seeing this makes me realise it’s beautiful.”

While a fifth added: “Never underestimate what you can do for women post baby. Great to see this post, which is honest, kind and humble.”

Olly and Amelia announced the arrival of their baby boy in September with a caption that read: “Walking out as four. Welcome to the world, our little Albert.”

Ahead of the arrival of their baby boy, Amelia and Olly were guessing the gender of their baby as they decided not to find out until the little one arrived. Amelia had said: "It’s hard to tell, because I was convinced Madi was a boy. But I do think this one is a boy."

Olly added: "Obviously, that’d be cool, but I’m swaying more to thinking it’s a girl. I’d love that, I genuinely would. We’re reaching the point where we have to make decisions. But this feels like a different pregnancy."

Olly announced that they were expecting once again earlier this year, but admitted it was a big shock. He explained: "You know you have those weeks where you just can't tell anyone? And it's been really exciting news for us both, a shock, we didn't expect it to happen this quick, but amazing! ...

"It’s going to be mad, having a little brother or sister for Madison. Times have changed but in a good way." They first announced baby Madison's birth on April 16, 2024 after revealing they were to be parents back in December 2023.

Their first baby announcement came just months after the couple tied the knot on July 15, 2023.
