Army Chief Ashok Raj Sigdel is currently in charge of the country. If we talk about the salary of Nepali Army officers, then the Army Chief gets the highest amount of money.
The highest post in the Nepal Army is that of the Commander-in-Chief. Currently, Ashok Raj Sigdel is on this post. According to a Nepali educational portal Edusanjal , his salary is 67,140 Nepali Rupees per month. Apart from the salary, the Commander-in-Chief gets many other facilities and allowances. Apart from a government car, he also gets a government residence.
How much salary do other officers of Nepal Army get?
The second highest post in the Nepal Army is that of Lieutenant General. His salary is 64,540 Nepalese rupees per month. Major General gets 62,680 Nepalese rupees per month. After this comes the post of Brigadier General and Colonel. Brigadier General gets 53,000 rupees and Colonel gets 49,380 rupees. Another important thing is that these officers get other allowances along with salary. Official information regarding salary is not publicly available.

Interim government will be formed soon in Nepal
KP Sharma Oli resigned from the post of Prime Minister amid the uproar in Nepal. Now an interim government will be formed in the country soon. Gen-Z protesters have agreed on the name of former Chief Justice Sushila Karki. A meeting is to be held between President Ramchandra Paudel and representatives of the protesters on Thursday (September 11). A decision will be taken after this.
