Meghan Markle's next career move could be just around the corner, one expert has predicted. The Duchess of Sussex, 44, took the world by surprise last week when she stepped out solo at Paris Fashion Week.
The duchess, who had not visited Europe since 2023 before this recent trip, was sitting front row at the Balenciaga fashion show in support of designer Pierpaolo Piccioli. While she may be a controversial figure, she managed to make headlines around the world, with one expert now suggesting that her appearance at the event was a significant indication of things to come.
Although Meghan already has her As Ever brand, which primarily sells wine and spreads, brand and culture expert Nick Ede now believes that her next career move could be in fashion.
Mr Ede exclusively told Express.co.uk: "Meghan has always had a deep interest in fashion, she knows the industry, supports emerging designers, and has an innate sense of style that resonates with real women."
He continued: "I am sure as part of the As Ever brand we will see a rollout into fashion so if she's going to be taken seriously she needs to hang with the fashion pack so I expect we will be seeing a lot more of her on FROWS around the world."
While unconfirmed, speculation has already begun as to whether or not Meghan could attend London Fashion Week next year.
These rumours have not been addressed by Prince Harry's wife, who has not stepped foot in the UK since September 2022.
The duchess has also not shown any signs that she will be launching herself into the fashion world soon, however she did drop a clue earlier this year that this could one day be on the cards for her one day.
In an interview with Fast Company in May, Meghan said: "The category of fashion is something I will explore at a later date, because I do think that's an interesting space for me."
The duchess has not made any further comments on the matter.
