NEW DELHI: Seven members of a family are feared dead as a landslide flattened their house in the Mahore area in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, according to news agency PTI, which cited officials.
According to officials, heavy rains battered the Badder village of Mahore, which triggered the landslide. A rescue operation has been launched to trace the missing family members.
The owner of the house, Nazir Ahmad, his wife and five minor sons are missing and are feared dead.

Earlier on Saturday morning, at least three people were killed and two others were reported missing due to heavy rains and flash floods triggered by a cloudburst in the Rajgad area of Jammu and Kashmir's Ramban.
